As Nelson Mandela stated, “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” Education is the only way to change cultures and legal systems in regards to human trafficking. A positive example of both occurring is the progress of the DWI – Driving While Intoxicated – violation. For example, thirty years ago, a DWI violation was not a significant offense. Today, however, it could cost an individual their job. MATTOO resolves to create a similar stigma to human trafficking. To accomplish this change within human trafficking, however, will take people influencing other people.
